The Education Programme


The Food Programme

The seed bed at the centre and some crops growing, to be used in about two months for the feeding programme

The rice seed bed prepared, and the seedlings growing well. Shamba already prepared for transplanting by the end of this month

The feeding programme; the children take porridge as soon as they arrive in the morning, a meal at lunch time and porridge again before they leave. we expect there to be a marked improvement in their appearance in a month from the debut of the programme. We give them rice and beans, maize and beans, lentils as well.


The Health Programme


Classroom floor completed and in use for education and resting purposes (the children sleep after the midday meal in order to enhance their growth and maximize food utilisation by their bodies

Drugs purchased an in use at the centre. Several children have been dewormed. Several others have received treament for coughs and skin aflictions. Several widows and grandparents are also benefitting from the medical care.
